On Monday, July 29, 2019 your account(s) transitioned to the Legend Bank system.
- Your account number remained the same with Legend Bank as it was with Independent Bank
- We carefully reviewed your current account(s) and we transitioned you to a Legend Bank account with similar benefits and features.
Free Debit Card Rewards - Soon you will earn reward points for all your debit card purchases with your new Legend Bank card! Look for more information in your mailbox early this fall. We can't wait to tell you more about this program.
- As of November 1, 2019, your Independent Bank checks, ACH items and debit card auto payments are automatically returned by Independent Bank for Whitewright customers. Unfortunately, we have no record of these items.
- Please securely destroy any remaining Independent Bank checks, deposit slips or other items as they are no longer valid as of November 1, 2019.
- Your account number did not change as a part of the transition to Legend Bank.
- Please make sure you have updated the routing number on any automatic items you have established on your account. Your account number did not change with the transition to Legend Bank; however, the routing number needs to be updated to Legend Bank’s routing number, which is 111903290.
- As of November 1, 2019 any items presented to Independent Bank on Whitewright Mastercard debit card numbers are being automatically returned by Independent Bank. Please make sure you are using your Legend Bank debit card.
- We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you. Please contact us at 800-873-5604 so that we can assist you through this transition.
Letter and Account Conversion Guide
On June 28, 2019 we mailed your account transition information along with your account conversion guide. In this letter you received information to make the transition to your new Legend Bank account as easy as possible.
We are happy to share with you that your account number remained the same with Legend Bank as it was with Independent Bank, unless you received notification that your number changed.
We carefully reviewed your current account(s) and transitioned you to a Legend Bank account with similar benefits and features. Please review the Account Conversion Guide links for your new Legend Bank accounts.
